Let’s Get it Crackin’

Have ya’ll (sorry, I went to school in VA!) experienced the new crackled nail trend yet? I’m kind of addicted. In the “I need to paint my nails with a different color combo just about everyday” kinda way … It’s pretty seriously. There are just way too many choices and combinations to settle on one. Luckily I found this incredible nail salon that only charges $7 for a manicure (I know, I couldn’t believe it either at first!). For $7 dollars, my bank account & crackled nail polish addiction both stay at ease.

*sorry for the low res, I used my phone to take the photo

I’m a fan of the China Glaze crackle, it comes in a variety of colors and regardless of the color combo you choose, it looks spectacular. It takes manicures and pedicure to a whole new level.

For a shattered look:

First–apply 1-2 coats of nail color and let dry.
Next–apply a thin coat of shatter nail polish and let dry.
Finally–apply a clear top coat for added gloss and durability.

The best part is, you don’t have to be perfect when applying the Crackle polish over your nails–imperfections are what you’re going for!

Here are some of my favorite color combos:

Why not make a statement with these edgy, yet fabulous, nails!?
