Styling Sleepwear

21 Jul

You know the saying, go to Target for one thing and come home with a cart full. Okay, well it might not really be a saying but it’s something that happens to me all of the time. I stopped at Target on my way home yesterday to pick up some hairspray and nail polish, but as I walked in, the pajama section lured me over with it’s bright and comfy looking pieces. Who can turn down inexpensive and adorable pajamas? Clearly not me, I ended up walking out with 3 new pajamas and a handful of other goodies … I even forgot to grab the hairspray! Don’t you hate when that happens!?

What I look forward to the most after a long day of wearing a skirt & heels, is throwing on some comfy ‘jams. In college, my roomates used to tease me for always sleeping in a chemise. But they’re so danity and comfortable, how can you resist?!

Too stay cool in the summer, you want to choose materials that breathe and stay cool (easy & breezy!). My favorite summertime fabrics to sleep in are silk and cotton. Honestly, these fabrics are downright dreamy — soft to the touch and so comfortable! I’m making myself sleepy just writing about them. Of course, I may also be sleepy because it’s currently about 100 degrees and the heat is makeing me drowsy.

With the heat we’re experiencing this week, these fabulous pajamas will keep you cool and cozy.
